Scout 1.4 TDi Tyre Pressures

Featured Replies

Hi there can anyone help. I have a Roomster Scout 1.4 TDi, I have thumbed the instruction manual to death to find the Tyre pressures but am told to check the inside of the fuel cap, only one problem the last owner has put a diesel sticker over the pressures. Not helpful. :@

Can a Scout TDi owner please let me know the pressures.

For normal driving, loaded and towing.

Cheers Chris

From where does that site obtain the quoted tyres pressures?  It is wrong for both my last car and my wife's current car.  For my Octavia vRS it quotes 0psi for front and back.  Don't think I'll be trying that!

Does that imply that you should be using solid tyres?

Might be a bit of a lumpy ride!

The site got it right for my Roomster though.

The filler cap on mine shows tyre pressures for all Scout variants.

For the 1.4TDI, pressures (Bar) are: -

205/45 R16.....Normal load.....F2.3 R2.1..........Heavy load.....F2.3 R3.2

205/40 R17.....Normal load.....F2.2 R2.0..........Heavy load.....F2.3 R3.0

There are no pressures shown for towing
