Exciting day today. Ordered my first ever brand new car. Also, this is my first post!

 

Ordered a vRS petrol hatchback in Race Blue. Only extras I chose were Black Pack and Privacy Glass. Can't wait for delivery. Unfortunately though, have to wait until January.

 

One thing I do have to say though is thanks to everyone who shares tips, advice and info on the forum. I have been reading through the topics for the last 2 weeks and it meant I knew exactly what I wanted from the dealer. In actual fact, I knew more about the new vRS than the dealer themselves knew!

 

Will be sad to see my mk2 go, but fancy a change from diesel and never grew to like the DSG. It never felt as smooth or as quick to change in my car as it should have done.

It is exciting isn't it? I went through that a couple of weeks ago when I ordered an Elegance hatch. I decided the spec had to be just right (within my budget), so lots of extras!

 

The worst part is now, with the seemingly never ending wait until it arrives!

Enjoy it when it arrives in the new year-The mkIII tsi with it's improved mpg will be on my short list of 2 next time round, probably same colour too!. Funny how dsg is so marmite, that's not meant to be derogatory in any way, just an observation. I'm rather jealous tbh! But enjoy anyway...
