Not sure how accurate the speedo is???

Mine is geared for 186mph....I've had over 165 on the clock out of it!

It had a fair bit left,so to me,I think it will actually do 180+ with ease as long it's not into a stiff head wind!

Can't say where this was though as it may get me into trouble!

Iv had 155mph out of mine today in 4th with 5th and 6th to go although that was on the clock so maybe 130 but I recon it will do 180+

To be fair mate it's Dave uptons old vrs it's had loads of work done to it, its got all forged internals gt28 turbo with a 6speed diesel box just like Clive was saying earlier.

What did your speedo read ?

Over 150, but not by a lot. Tbh you don't look at the Speedo when you're doing that speed down an autobahn. I just had the GPS device recording highest speed as well as current on the dash in front.

Was 3 up with around 50 litres of beer plus 2 weeks camping equipment. So the old girl did well!

Interesting to see original air filter box and not an induction kit.  A lot of people have said induction kits soak up loads of engine heat so really they are not helping?

Its one reason to box off round a cone filter

 

(the other being for water protection)

I've got a badger5 induction kit,heat shield and custom tip now to aid air flow!

It flows better than the std set up now!
