Delivery Mileage

Featured Replies

When you pick up a new car what sort of 'delivery mileage" should you expect to see? or at what mileage should you start to complain?

I only had 19 miles on the clock when I picked it up, would not like to see much more the 30 miles

There was a recent thread that went "off on one" a bit...but I think the general consensus was that people would possibly be curious of anything over the 30-50 mile mark.  Not that anything underhand might have gone on as there are several reasons why it might have more, just that transparency would be reasuring.

My last 3 Octy's have been around the 8 or 9 mile mark - I agree that anything over 30 and you should be asking questions - I hope that when I pick up my new one in October its still single figures... :whew:

Mine has 10 miles.

7 miles on mine

I've had as low as 3 miles and once had as high as 52, I wasn't very pleased so the dealer threw in £100 of fuel vouchers.

11 km on mine in 2010 Scout.

First Octavia I bought had 8 miles on at delivery, the second 11. Now I'm waiting for my third Octavia...

14 miles on my vrs estate fabia, and that included them drivivng it to a place for 4 wheel alignment! (I had eibachs fitted on delivery) I wouldn't accept more than 20 miles....

11 miles on my octavia 3.

Mine had 6 on it and 0 miles range

not again :dull:

I had 7 when I purchased a new Megane oh so many years ago. 35 on the replacement Peugeot and my first vRS had 11.
