Anyone used this company as 80 pounds rather than 200. Any good?

Very dodgy since Ross Tech make the software and real cables.

I would say so, Ross Tech will sell you a cable with an obvious premium BUT they will continue to develop software and will also support you with all you need via the Ross Tech Wiki community, I got mine from Ilexa in Cornwall after being recommended by Devonutopia, I have also helped two other Brisky members with some tweaks to make a phone work in an Octy blackline and change the country of origin in a Fabia Monte to Australia so as a large MPH display appears in the centre of the clocks.

 

 Then I have used this myself to identify and repair lots of faults on my Golf, it really is a valuable tool and with time gets easier and easier to use.

 

 Worth the money in my opinion.

save the hassle and buy a legit cable, i made the mistake of buying a knock off one first time round, dont get me wrong it worked a treat for the first time i used it but came to use it again when i had a problem and it was dead but buy a genuine Rosstech
