Point of interest, is the reviewer is one Luke Madden, who has reviewed all the previous ones on the F/L Yeti for Auto express. Me thinks he should be put on my Ignore List. Note also he did not review the new QQ that was done by Steve Fowler.

I was very surprised when they said the cheapest Qashqai 4x4 ws £4605 more than a Yeti SE?

I bet the depreciation is steeper as well.

I don't know if this has been covered but the l+k has a removeable torch in the boot....

Massive selling point  :)

I wonder if these torches will go disappearing in the same way that the Superb umbrellas used to  :wonder:

I've got a fine selection, if your interested? He he

I like the new look. As mentioned by NickP, strange that they sell a LWB version in a country populated by people whose average height is only 5'4" for men and 5'1" for women. Mind you, I suppose it saves us from having the afterthought spare wheel fix :D

Wow....didn't know that.

Whereabouts?  I'll double check mine's there when it eventually arrives.

There's two boot lights, one on the near side and a detachable torch light on the off side...

All the FLs have this LED light detachable boot torch, not just the L&K.

:giggle:  Yup it is one of only three new things the FL Yeti got apart from the facelift itself: KESSY, the reversing camera and the little torch.  And trust me this baby torch and the existing light combined give out about 30% of the light from the one Superskoda LED upgrade you can get. So still pathetic.

Haldex 5 and (apparently as a consequence, but difficult to believe) 5 off the CO2 rating? But don't disagree at all, fairly slim pickings. Wonder if MY2015 will add anything new into the mix?

Lotte had her first service yesterday, I saw the Facelift model and I must admit it is growing on me a little. I was looking at the details of the new L & K and like the add ons, and especially he brown leather interior and was considering asking what my trade in price would be against this. Then I became sensible and thought with only 7k miles on mine with a further two years warranty and free servicing to go there was no immediate incentive to change.

I think I will wait until the arrival of Yeti 2 and hopefully the newer VAG group engines will be available and the car will be brought up to date in more ways than the current facelift offers.

Ah yes...  maybe there was more than three things.  But not enough in my book.  Not where it counts - i.e. engines, gearboxes and stop start across the range.  Not to mention auto collision stop even the humble Citygo has!!

.......and don't forget the LED rear lights.

Apparently no rear mud flaps, just been to see mine and it is supposed to be having mud flaps all round but due to the new rear bumper they  have not produced the mud flap to fit it yet,  no part number on the system, that fits in with the front mud flaps only on the build your yeti web site.

Apparently no rear mud flaps.

I excitedly / foolishly bought a full set of mud flaps to fit when I got my Yeti, then they went and changed my order to an FL - do you know if the front flaps are the same / different from pre-FL?

Oh yes, and anyone need a pair of rear mud flaps for a pre-FL Yeti?

Fronts are the same, just the rears due to the change of the rear bumper

When I Specced my L&K Outdoor order last month, rear mud flaps were £20 factory fitted.

I thought for £20 why not?

I did wonder why it said rears only?

I've just checked the Skoda configurator ,and the picture is definitely the rear wheel arch.

I wonder if the new rear bumper will get rid of the water trap that is along the bottom edge of the tailgate?

Harking back to the posts regarding the FL brochure's availability on the SUK website and whether or not it really existed, I just found that from the link to the FL brochure here:

http://www.skoda.co.uk/models/yeti-outdoor

Takes you to the (still) rather inaccurate FL Nov 13 edition brochure.

However, if you go to the 'request a brochure' page here:

http://www.skoda.co.uk/tools/request-a-brochure

At the top, under 'request a brochure' and for the 'new Yeti', you, again, get the Nov 13 FL brochure.

However, click on the Yeti picture further down the page (which you're more likely to see first) and it takes you to the Ur-Yeti brochure.....

SE onwards according to my spec sheets
