Wheels done at last *Help me choose spacers*

Featured Replies

well attempted to register with that forum, about 10 attempts then gave in guess i wont be a member on there. Everytime it was something different...username not available, password too short, password need lower and upper case then countless attempts at those stupid letter things :/

Ha ha.. Defeated by technology.

Just call him might be easier:

I've got his mobile if you can't get him any other way.

Alex's mobile's on silent from last week onwards, probably due to the amount of people that ring him on it out of hours.

He'll pick up the landline though.

Can't the members here do group buy for H&R? I'm interested to buy a set.

Another dumbass question. When we're talking spacers (this is directed mainly at Ali_cat, Vectra1 and JR RS), is everyone talking about Xmm per side? Seems that when buying spacers they measure total mm per axle but everyone else seems to talk mm per end of the axle (if you know what I mean)?

Reason I ask is that I've just picked up some 15mm Eibach spacers. I'll be honest, I think they're 15mm each (so widen the track out back by 30mm) which is the same as if my Zeniths were ET36 which is perfectly reasonable? I won't die in a ball of flames if I do this will I? Means I may as well just get my wheels refurbed now anyway which doesn't really bother me - as OEM wheel designs go, I really like the Zenith!

You'll be fine, no flames, or death, or any other terrible injuries to you or the car. Just some stancetastic fitment.

And when I talk about spacers I always mention each side for spacing not total axel width.

Post some pics when they're on.

Will do. With probably get the wheels refubred and hubs desperately need painting and then fit it together.
