Fantastic valet job in County Limerick (Ireland)

Featured Replies

Well, I finally found the time to get a full valet done on my 5 year old Superb. I take reasonable care of it myself, but living on an unmade road in the UK and then driving on wet Irish roads and lugging lots of stuff about had left it looking a bit flat, and with lots of debris in nooks and crannies. I could never quite find the time to clean it properly myself, and had just started to ignore it.

I found a company called MX Valeting, quite close to where I live in Ireland now. But helpfully, the guy is a mobile valeter who came to me instead (which worked perfectly in terms of my laziness!). He spent an entire day on the car, and I'm amazed by the results to be honest. I expected the paintwork outside to be nice and shiny (although it came up better than I thought), but the real difference was in all the little things that I never would have done myself. Door sills, trims, engine bay, spare wheel, pedals, mats; everything is shiny or clean looking. I think the most amazing thing (for me) was the difference in the leather seats. The cream leather never looked dirty to my eyes, but when the guy doing the valet showed me a "before and after" section on a seat he was working on, I couldn't believe it! I have no idea how the seats got so dirty just from me and the wife sitting on them...

Anyways, if there's anyone reading this looking for a mobile valet (or any valet) in the County Limerick area, I would absolutely recommend this company. I think their website is www.mxvaleting.com, but they put before and after pictures of my car on Facebook, if anyone wants to see the difference: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.702940189731469.1073741868.652309348127887&type=1&l=30065eecc2.

I was delighted anyways. Not looking quite so shiny after driving in miserable wet weather, but still shinier than I'd ever managed myself previously!

No polishing of the paintwork then?

Hi chris

It was polished by hand with Autoglym super resin polish and waxed with Collinite 476's

Only with AGSRP?

Not a lot of cut and a lot of fillers..lol

Yep, That's the one - Simple shine is all that was required, no swirl removal
