s3 seats

Featured Replies

Does anyone know if these will fit? If so how much modification would it require? And would it be a difficult job?

Subframes are different so would need some manufacturing. Not sure what's involved though. Are the s3 seats electric too?

If im honest im not sure. I want some recaros so I was having a look around and I really like the look of them. Do you know about the rear bench? Im assuming that wouldnt fit at all

Nice set of bucket seats from a polo on eBay, seen them earlier on while seat searching also.

Golf recaros can b made to fit on the Fabia base. Pasty boy did a guide :)

Are they they suede type? My mate has a set in blue in his 1.8T they are nice!

Thanks hutchy ill have a look. Ill see if I can find the guide.

I think there was an option for suede but the ones ive found are the full leather ones.

I think the s3 recaros are different to the normal cloth or even leather recaros as in there is two bases to them, the base for the seat with the motors and stuff and then the base to suit the car. These recaros were fitted in a number of different cars including audi s4 and st220 ford mondeo.

I think I read somewhere that you can buy the base to suit the car from recaro but at a price.

The back bench in the s3 is not made by recaro and I would think it would be similar to the guide that pasty put up and that myself and a few others have done lately with mk1 octavia vrs seats

I wouldn't worry about the electric or heated seat part. That is very easy to sort.

There is a leather set up on ebay for 450 or best offer out of an A1.  I tried to persuade the mrs to get them for hers, but apparently the car has enough problems which cost money without me breaking the interior too.

You'd think she didn't trust me or something.

Bugger it just checked.  Those seats are down to £399 or best offer. grrrr

All in all it sounds very difficult to do. Yeah I found an s3 interior for 450, its alot of money to spend if its not doable though.
