Sachs or LUK

Featured Replies

Thinking of getting my clutch and DMF done at some point prior to a shark remap.

Which is better, Sachs or LUK? Is there any difference (in terms of pedal feel/strength/quality)?

Cheers :)

All clutches And flywheels I've removed from any vag car have been Sachs. When I change mine it will be Sachs also.

Good stuff :) the Sachs kit is slightly cheaper so happy days.

Lol

Ive ordered a sachs dmf and luk clutch kit from cp4l and the dmf was sashs and the luk sealed box with the clutch kit in is all sachs too lol bar the luk bearing.

Is sachs and luk the same company?

No, they are different.

mmm random,

mind Ive had CP4L sub items before!

thing is its all in LUK boxes but items in them say Sachs, will get it all out and see if its been used of looks like its been fitted or something, personally I don't trust CP4L.

I ordered a Sachs slave cylinder from cp4l but it turned up in a LUK box and was a LUK item so can't complain as the LUK costs more.

Order direct from Sachs, I got the whole kit (DMF, Clutch and Slave) for £354.99.

It's £312 on CP4L at the moment for the same. Just use the voucher code SAVE5.
