This one looks like a very good buy!

Yes and it has a three spoke multi function steering wheel; not a standard UK option :wonder:

18" rims would not be for me though, far to much alloy and to little rubber :giggle:

TP

Many thanks to all for their advice.  I went for the 2.0 TDI CR in the end, and picked it up yesterday.  Taking it onto the dual carriageway leaving the dealer (alongside various VAG cars waiting on Grimsby docks), the extra power of the 2.0 compared with the 1.6 that I test-drove was immediately apparent.  I'm happy with my choice!

It's a beauty mate, well done.  Long may it serve you well.

I'd have done exactly the same, especially with the 4x4. Enjoy your new car, the extra advantage of having the 2.0 will IMO pay dividents in driver satisfaction alone and I'm sure you won't regret it.

Best colour you could imagine - platin gray, would so love to have it too, as I have it on my O2FL. It being discontinued forced me to choose topaz brown on my O3...

You will be very happy of it not showing dirt when between washing ;)
