Again, thanks for the kind comments all!

Car is looking awesome Lee, can't wait to get mine now though which should be ~ 10 weeks!

I was wondering if you had applied your own products to the paint or whether this was how that car came from the dealers? It is looking uber shiny which is not always easy on white so would be keen to find out products used.

Cheers

No I asked the dealer not to touch the paint. It's wearing a coat of Gtechniq C2V3, very wet looking and feels like glass!

I take it you mean the Gemini's?

They were my first choice, but the car was already built, so I ended up with no choice! All of the early builds come with Pictoris as standard, there was an early supply shortage on the Gemini's.

No matter what - just not black.

Could I ask what percentage tint you had ? making me more anxious waiting for my piece of CANDY

Genuinely? I'm not entirely sure! I asked the dealers to organise tints the same as one of their show cars, I liked how it looked so didn't bother asking what percentage tint it was, sorry!

That was a great review  , im counting down the days till october when my red toy arrives with sun set glass and black grill and wheels

The sunset glass option looks like a weak tint. Yours looks much better. Great looking car mate

very nice. Same colour as mine that is on order! Enjoy!

Lee Thomas,

Very nice car, looks good in white.

Out of interest what size wheel/tyre is the space saver?

Today I get my new rs. Here is some pictures.

It's a 17", not sure on tyre size, I'll pop out and have a look in a bit.

I did look in my local dealers vrs and i thought it was an 18" space saver, as its something iv had to look at as needed to get the option ordered.

Sorry just been to check, it's a 125/70 R18.

Only my opinion but it looks like my 20% tint which I believe is one shade up from Limo. HTH

Just remember that by increasing the level of tint you are also increasing the chances of you being stopped by the police and getting either an enforcement notice & £30? fine or possibly more because the level of tint is too strong and they have a roadside tester and they can force you to remove it there and then.

Update:

Have just been to fill the car up.

The car took 44.25 litres to fill, and I'd covered 530 miles meaning it did 54.45 mpg. Not bad for it's first couple of hundred miles. Maxidot read 55.7mpg so it's a little optimistic but not overly so. Very impressed seeing as it's only going to get better.

Here's a nice little feature aswell, screen-grab some radio station icons, pop them on an SD card, shove it in the car and this is what you get:

Apoligies for the poor radio station choice, there's some better ones on the next page, just haven't bothered putting them to the front yet!
