No more uniroyal rainsport 2 :(

Featured Replies

I have a set of 4, and I'm not overly impressed with them tbh. After all the hype I read about them on here I feel unimpressed.

I'll be trying some T1R next.

Michelin PS3's I'm running now and wondering why I never did it sooner. Ok it's £100 a corner but fantastic. The Swift runs the Uniroyals and I've driven very hard in the wet and on a normal dry day and it was great with both and helped keep the speed up through corners very well. When we had that hot 30c spell a few months ago they were a bit off then but only noticeable if you were pushing hard. I like them a lot and the only reason I didn't go for them on my vRS was because I wanted to try a Michelin for a change.

Uniroyals rainsport 2 is being discontinued apparently. Continental has taken over. Black circles no longer show them for the fabia. Kinda lost what to get next, will have to have a look. Edit:sorry just seen the tyre section

Uni Royal have been part of Conti' for a long time as have Barum  also good tyres at good prices

Running a set of 205/40/17 Rainsport 2s for the first time on my Fabia and am so far very impressed with the ride/handling mix  :)
