Picked my Xtreme alloys up :) :)

Im ever so sorry, i still don't see relevance, iv bought the wheels, if i cared how much the weighed i wouldn't of bought them or if quality of comfort was an issue i would of gone and bought a elegance. People have there opinions, i wouldn't say I'm touchy, just don't see why people need to comment negative comments. It is irrelevant to my post regarding picking my new wheels that iv bought. For the guns, no need for scales haha

Have you thought, perhaps for just one minute, that the weight of these wheels might be of use to your fellow forum users? Right now you've posted pictures, but their looks are already well known.

The wheels are off the car without tyres fitted, a perfect opportunity to provide some actual tangible info for someone thinking of buying.

So, is it a can't or a won't? Or do you fear someone saying something negative about your lovely new wheels?

  • Hi everyone,   I know a good few of you are wanting a weight to these wheels, well I've just spoken to Dan at Bickerton (Skoda Parts) and asked him, how much these wheels weigh? Whilst I was on the

  • I like em, but sheesh, why the overly defensive posts?! Did you design them yourself?

  • I was going to explain the difference between "there" "their" and "they're", but I am not sure I can be bothered.

Id say more i cant be bothered so ill go with wont, its not something that bothers me. Its the people who dont like them who want to know the weight by looks of it so finding a reason to moan about them going to be a little more uncomfortable on a car with harder suspension.

They'd look nice on my S3. With Audi centre caps of course.

And a bargain price too, £800 wouldn't buy 2 of my OE wheels.

To the OP, What's the offset please. I have fairly big brakes to

allow for.

Im not overly sure what the offset is for these, i should they would easily fit the s3

Thats quite some attitude. Why assume everyone asking a question, doesnt like them? Dont put something on a public forum if you dont want to hear opinions! It may not bother you but its obviously important or of interest to others on Briskoda and as part of this community, I guess people feel they could ask you as you are best placed to answer. If you arent worried about how the car feels on the road, dynamically or how it turns in or rides over smaller road imperfections then fair enough but others are interested in these aspects hence the question regarding the wheel weight. Just a small amount of additional unsprung weight can make a noticeable difference of how the car feels on the road - it doesnt have to be an Elise on a track to be noticed or be considered detrimental.

Its stamped on the inside of the rim, if you want to help answer grr666's question.

Wow, I am genuinely shocked at that attitude.  On being asked a question on a forum I have e.g. gone out to my car, taken a photo, put the SD card in a PC, uploaded to the web, posted words and a link. And you can't be bothered to weigh a wheel when asked nicely.  Repeatedly.  Not sure you are really cut out for forum participation...  (Puts on flak jacket).

Edit - really like the wheels by the way.

More guesswork?

Look at front of wheel, turn wheel over, look for ETxx mark stamped on inside of rim

Report back in new post

Now that's not rocket science :)

If they don't fit the S3, someone might criticise the wheels.

I won't, I like them.

The standard wheels on mine are ET54.

Would look **** on your old man superb Leon! ;)

I've already done a photoshop ;)

when you get home, stand on the bathroom scales - note the weight. (A)

Stand on them again holding one wheel, note the weight (B)

take A from B and you have the weight of one wheel - how hard is that?

post the result in here, even easier ;)
