tad gutted that my RARB which I had hoped was coming together with the springs would be here but not the case.  On the up side I can give a review of stock vs springs vs RARB and Springs.

Watch this space for some before and after shots.

Looking forward to the review and the pics.

Now that's service

Would you mind looking into the whereabouts of my RARB?

The ride will be a bit bouncy on standard shocks but not unbearable, updated shock go down a treat with those springs matey :) That my opinion though so you make your own judgement

It's purely for budget reasons I don't also have some Bilstein B8's to throw on.

Alex at AKS Tuning has given me a good price so in the coming months I'll be wanting to complete the set

And here's what they look like out of the box, very nice gunmetal finish.

Where's my proper credit for this?? Kidding, there's actually only one choice for the vRS when you see H&R so not that difficult to guess!

So, I'm one year (+ something) ahead from you on the H&R's upgrade and... I'm thinking I wouldn't mind one of my stock dampers having an accident and me having to change to B8s...  :giggle:

It's not that bad as even with standard dampers, you should take bumps with care but you can only be tempted from the possibility of keeping this nice improved handling that the springs and arbs offer while, even not by a lot, improving the comfort at the same time. Ahhh, it sounds very good indeed...

Oh yes, they will do nicely.

Springs now on the car, Admiral policy updated for the princely sum of twenty groats.

First impressions are very good, having made a few trips in the car this afternoon with my 11 month old boy any fears of making the ride worse have been proved wrong. We have apalling roads in my area and although I can't say the crash is any less, it is most definitely no worse. The car even at slow speeds feels more poised, taut, weightier and I'm not sure if it could be possible but I might even say a touch quieter.

Now clearly with the little sprout in the car I wasn't going to be pushing any envelopes or even slightly nudging them in terms of giving the car a work out so I will update on this at a later date. My car previously rolled even in lighter day to day driving duties and this is clearly much reduced. It gives the feel of greater composure found in more expensive cars.

I have taken some pics which I will post shortly, and then some more tomorrow when I clean her up. Overall the look is bang on, not overly low but I feel I might have been dissapointed had I gone for a more modest drop.

All in all, first thoughts are that for the money (purchase, fit and insure for a fraction over £200) this is a no brainer.

One very happy camper.

Right it's nearly be 2 hours where's the pic's then lol, I think with that write up you've swung me to h&r's for my estate
