Can you guess what it is yet?

Thanks, I spoke to the courier on Friday. They had both parcels but for some reason one wasn't loaded in to the van, they said should be here today hopefully. Probably wont get them on till next weekend aswell as new tyres now tho due to work.

From the your review of the springs it sounds like the combination of the RARB and the springs together will be exactly how others have described on there cars. Can't wait!

  • Congratulations that man.   Tomorrow if all goes well I will be 40mm lower.     tad gutted that my RARB which I had hoped was coming together with the springs would be here but not the case.  On

Hey O.C.D, can you let me know what spec wheels are those, my Gigaro's are 205/40/17 ET41. I'm wondering whether 15mm front and 20mm rear will step my wheels out any further than yours as they are different model.

Yo sparkly ive 205/45/16 not sure about the et maybe someone can give a shout in.

Ok great thanks,

Also seen as I forgot to say it first time around, that's a fine looking motor you have there, nice photos.

I've asked AKS Tuning to get me a good price on the spacers. Think these will be added to mine shortly.

thanks dude, if you get spacers dont forget the extended wheel bolts, most time spacers come with extended bolts.

Couple of pics of the car looking lower after a spritz at the car wash, lazy cleaning regime until drier weather when it will get some winter waxy treatment.

Can't wait to get the bar fitted, all the excitement has seen me stick my name down for the possible Spring Castle Combe Action Day.

Looking sweet sparkly.

Thanks, I've got a price for some H&R Trak+ spacers now too.

Just mulling it over as with the longer bolts and a set of longer locking bolts it's a shade more expensive than i expected but to be fair 15/20mm per wheel is quite a big set of spacers and it's a mod with zero fitting costs.  On the third pic the wheels look really tucked away under the car compared to yours.

Just got quite a few other things I fancy doing.........................I need to write a list :giggle:

Spacers would really finish the look off but tbh is looking pretty decent as it is.

looking good mate, do let me know how much the shocks will cost ;) when is the RARB being fitted?

yo sparkly after looking at ur fotos i think 15mm spacers all round might be better. maybe a couple of fotos showing the clearance between the top of the tyre and the wheel arch may help.

What makes you say 15mm all round, are you thinking the rears might foul on the arch going over bumps?

I'll get a snap of the rears close up tomorrow.

Minor update, the bar goes on the car tonight after work, really looking forward to see what it adds.

Small package arrived today with these

Not sure what happened when they packed them but I only ordered a couple to do my interior lights

Also I am really frustrated by only being able to add image attachments that require opening, how on earth do I post the full size image within the thread, do I need a Flickr account or something? The tool asks for a URL.

hi sparkly i only say 15mm from the fotos but maybe more close up fotos of the arch gap from different angles would tell a different story. bang some pics up..!!!

Nah man, looking at your fotos i would say 15mm all round would be the dogs b**ls.  But thats just my opinion for what its worth. maybe other folks can give there pennys worth...
