Come on track but I had a suspension issue. (And not just the arch gap) hopefully make it to one of the next ones in a fully fit car. Nice to meet a few people ive been interacting on here quite a lot with. Look forward to the next chance

I did get pulled in and told off for that and I was in the wrong!

I was coasting down because I lost my break pedal,I actually had to use the handbrake to slow down when I came in after the session lol

I did see you talking to one of the marshals when I came off the track though.....oops! Lol

At least you turned up and didn't wuss out because of the rain.

Lol wasn't just rain I was only going to be there for a hr to see a member for a chat as it was my eldest daughter birthday ;-)

Will be there at summer one how did your new setup go ?

Richard your GTR was actually on 3 wheels when you passed me on one point, that thing is awesome!

Had a great laugh on track, drive home was very relaxed as my front brakes are completely ruined now, I think the pads have fallen to bits!

Yep had a great day, 1st track times i've had in the last year where I have managed to not break something (although the car was a bit twitchy on the way home, i'm hoping thats down to tyre pressure's though).

Here are my vids, sadly my iPhone didn't record the 2nd session, and it seems my gopro was rattling against the bootlid, but it's still watchable, even if the sun was doing it's best to mess with the camera lol.

 

 

 

 

When I've done trackdays at CC before (years ago mind), they've had a "only overtake on the left" rule which was a right nightmare.

 

Have they dropped this now or did you, like me, simply ignore the advice and get on with it?

Combe is overtake on the right only, reason because the pit lane exit is on the left and you do not want to be passing on that side.

<facepalm>

Thinking back (a long way) I suspect it must have been the style rather than the side of my overtakes that upset people

I've got 1 or 2 good videos on my phone from the sidelines(so to speak) I've got two videos from different cameras of the 3 into 1 everybody hold your breath corner (or kink as Richard called it)

Had a great time. Kind of wish I took the last session that was going free now but it went to the right person in the end.

My blackvue didn't record anything again :(

Mine recorded but I am a little disappointed in the crackley speaker / mic noise, and also the way it was changing its light filters as I was lapping.

 

Not sure if the blackvue is the best thing for this, but its not meant to be a trackday camera only.

You nearly took me out in the first session too,overtook and cut back in way to sharp causing me to hit the brakes seriously hard into the corner and end up circa 6 inches off your rear bumper.

She would've liked a trackday meet with daddy.

As for setup what setup. Still on stock turbo had surging issues on the straights. Had to change gear at 5k to stop surging.

Was only managing 105mph up into Avon rise. I was 125mph last time.
