Spend x amount on a brand new car with a VW Climatic system in it and then complain 'cos one LED switches of when its running in auto !!!!!

Leave my cars Climatic system in auto all the time and just adjust the temp if needed. Never have a misting up proplems regardless if its only me or 4 persons in the car with wet coats etc.

Do have the winter pack so heated screen helps in the mornings, much reconmended.

Don't tell anyone that the MY13 cars with electric folding wing mirrors only unfold the mirrors when you turn the ignition on, not when you unlock the doors. It makes the puddle lights a complete waste of time as they illuminate down the door!

Or that the early cars with heated front screen didn't have the option to activate the heated screen automatically.

You are wrong. That is not the case. Take a look at post #1, #4 and #5. It switches again to auto only if you manually changed only fan speed. Try to change also direction of airflow with buttons above and please tell me if it switches to auto again. 

Nevermind, I can see that the only thing you can do is to criticize. I also have heated windscreen but i don't want to use it in this case.

What is wrong with you guys and what is wrong with willing to have all the things working as it should?

If you had a later car it would keep switching the heated windscreen on without you knowing about it to keep the windscreen clear. You can disable this, but it makes a huge difference.

I didn't know that. I guess it was introduced in MY 2015 cars and mine doesn't have that. It seems that MY 2013 and MY 2014 are somehow incomplete comparing to newer ones. Maybe someone will find a way to add this through VCDS.

I've tried and not found a way. It appears to be related to the HW and SW versions of the climatronic and infotainment.
