Done it, had to use Franklin to purchase it and he didn't have enough money. 

But did a new mission with him where I had to assassinate the chairman of a company

so first spent all of my heist money on shares of the competition before rubbing

Dat sucka out. Made well over 100 grand and got an 81.5% return all in. 

Only mistake I made was not buying loads of shares with all my guys. 

Next time I will though. Those Ferrari cars go well with a turbo

 

I bought shares too, but i didnt sell them quick enough and only remembered last night....

 

Ive lost about $20,000 after investing $40,000 haha

 

 

Bout 60% of the way though the story now :P

Franklin and Trevor are quite poor now after I bought the cab company. Can't wait for a mission where I can make more on the stock market. I'll exit the mission, get everyone to invest everything and go from there.

My Franklin is down to about 40k from 390k before buying

the LS customs. But I do have a lime green fully tricked

out 'Ferrari' now. It goes like crazy, I had to do it all twice

because I got myself nicked testing my bulletproof tyres.

Since when is it a crime to open fire on your own vehicle???

Sat over my mates until half one trying to work out the parachute with hilarious results.

Then stayed up until half three. Fell asleep with the controller in my hand. Then my daughter woke me at half seven on the sofa lol.

One of the Heist's i had a 4 door estate, which i tuned so it was ready to be a get away car, then i had a random event which i couldnt skip and it involved me changing my car.

 

I lost my tuned estate along with the 20k of mods! arghh!

Just checked my stats on the social page and my total game time is only 10 hours, must try to increase this a lot.

Interestingly you can create crews on the social site now ready for the online launch.

I've mainly done the main story line missions, but will spend more time exploring for a while now.

How long after the first heist before you can start buying property?

Not sure but if I could start again I wouldn't buy anything until I finish all the story missions just so I can buy as many shares as I can. Wish I'd known that before.

Lester. Michael will have the largest share, then Franklin. 

Trevor already has over 100g when you get him. The first thing that he can

buy is an airfield which you might recognise from GTA San Andreas.

The police and how quick you die is so annoying when you want to just go on a rampage, I even got a tank the other day and that blew up from just pistol gun fire by the police

On GTA Vice City and San Andreas, you could be going crazy, blowing up everything in sight for hours, doing that in this game doesn't work.

There's a big car glitch in the game (mainly Xbox version) which makes car that you have customised just disappear, I've lost 3 cars that were parked inside garages, spent over 50k on each one

Rockstar are currently fixing it and a update patch will be available soon.

I've concentrated on just doing story missions and I'm not far off. I'm only rushing because I don't want the ending spoiled. There's still plenty I need to do.

Six hours ago I sat up playing.

Now I'm on my way to work.

Completed it at just over 70%

I probably won't ever do all of the stunt jumps and everything else you need to do to complete it 100%

Just messing around from now on, going to try some cheats later, want to make it snow

Well, the car from my garage has turned back up in my garage but the other car i had put in there to replace it has now disappeared, as has Franklins car!!

I lost 2 from Franklin's garage (the big house)

At first I thought it was my fault for squeezing 2 cars into the garage, maybe you were only allowed to park 1 in there

Then I tried go to Franklin's mums house but on the way discovered that it was no longer available as a safe house, and I had a car inside that garage which I could never access again, that's when I Googled for help and discovered it was a major issue with the game, it wasn't just me lol

The 2 cars in the garage randomly reappeared in Franklin's garage a few missions later so I quickly saved game but when I went back outside, they were gone again, I loaded game and they weren't back, I did over 30% of the game since and they are gone for good :(

I love this thread but am concerned about the ending getting spoiled can we agree to not spoil the final decision ?

 

I have run off from 3 people today discussing the ending of story mode 

I've just unlocked Trevor and only about 25% done.

How many missions do you have to do before you can switch back to Franklin/Michael??

I'm currently doing missions with Trevor. Just snipered the airfield and hijacked and landed the plane.

Iv been exploring mainly, but I'm now getting sucked into the storyline now so will carry on with it for a bit.

My other two blokes are lying low for now (franklin, Michael) waiting for the cash from the heist.

Great game, very addictive as my bro in law found out Sat night when he came round for a bit abd had a play. So much so he has now bought it too lol.

Is the online gaming setup yet?

Can you complete stunt jumps in a cement mixer ?
