And if you want something brighter, fit fork 'andles.  (Thank you, the Two Ronnies.)

  • Xenon should be number one option, always. Second Parking Sensors, third sunroof

  • Why on earth would anyone want to upgrade the bi-xenons, they are superb both on dip and main beam. If you can't see clearly with the bi-xenons it's your eyes that want upgrading, not the lights!!

Has anyone out there upgraded their Halogens to the Skoda Original HID Xenon's + Daylights which are €494.99 each from Superskoda.com?

I'm tempted, was wondering if it is a straight swap?

The vRS xenons are great, both main and dipped, far better than my Land Rover Disco Xenons, absolutely no need to upgrade them.

As for getting as an option, they are expensive, it all depends on how much driving at night you do.  I do a lot and love them, I could live without them though but make sure you have upgraded Halogens if you do (have to when I use my OH car..)

Xenon's are awesome. I get in our other car and think the lights aren't even on...... IMO worth it

It would probably be easier and more cost effective just to buy a new car with xenons.

I can only concur with the general opinion: Octavia's Xenon are great. Having them directional is really a big advantage.

I was satisfied with Xenons on my two previous cars, but the Octavia's ones are clearly better.

Still some complaints have been seen on some french forums regarding wrong factory tuning, especially too low or excentric beams.

Most have been solved by dealer.

Worth it. No contest.

To do it properly you'll need at least the level sensors on the front & rear wheels plus the headlamp washers and some coding afterwards.
