It would replace the standard intercooler.

Some bumper and crash bar hacking is required. But arguably not necessary to replace if rest of car is standard. You can always start with the pikey mod first

You'll get a good run through the gears before it heat soaks on stock smic , with a massive ic you'll not get heat soak but introduce a little lag.
