How can people just leave such great cars to rot?

Wow, such a waste! A few of them would look fantastic if they had a clean. All depends if there is anything underneath left over.

Group B Citroen BX's. WOW!

I remember them. Only did a couple of rallies back in the 80's.

Wonder where they were heading on that transporter?

Some extremely sad pictures there.

Managed to find a translation......

Only a minority goes to museums and owners who treat them like kings who are warriors who were now deserve the glorious rest. But most race cars have a destination far less inglorious, and end up forgotten in any place. If you are a maniac Petrol Head advise to prepare psychologically before seeing the following images.

Several cars from the glories of Le Mans, through the legendary Group B cars of the WRC.

Old machines rotting every passing day, are legends and heroes asphalt but now are simply forgotten, ignored ..This time is now to think that all these photos are in Dubai, but not all ...

Many saw racing cars abandoned ...

That is criminal!! Stacks of classics in there.....  :'(

Sad? SAD?! This is outrageous!! How can this be allowed to happen?

The people bringing about the demise of these great cars should be publicly horse whipped before being forced to watch Katy Perry sing a special, extended 8 hours live set.

That is truely saddening.

... only in Dubai would you see an F1 car at the side of the road!

The bx's are truly sad the rear bottom is an evolution model which never competed the others are standard bx 4tc which saw the light on a grand total of I think two rallies and at most 4 stages of those rallies

That shouldn't be allowed, i'd have them.

Hopefully they're in the Citroen museum in Paris.....keep saying I must go there. Not exactly the other side of the world either.

From pictures I've seen in the past there is one of each in the Citroen museum. I don't think there are many cars Citroen have made not in there museum facility

I just cried a little bit :(

From another forum, not all are what they seem.

The F1 in the street is not real, but was a "showroom" special; the tub was a development build and the engine is fake.

Some of the rally cars are similar.

One of the Stratos is the ex burnt-out shell of a famous one that was "rebuilt" and resprayed.

I want the red Startos - they are such a pretty car

Someone ought to tell Mike Brewer and Edd China.....

We could all club together and buy a 'The Briskoda Barn' for unwanted unloved cars.

I wonder which of them would be worth the most? the Bugatti or one of the Ferrari's...

I soo want that AC cobra :(

I'd go Ferrari one worth around £2.5 mil

Love the Lancia Stratos :(

Someone, somewhere and at sometime will bring these cars back into some sort of order.

Bloody criminal!!
