He feels the car is lacking somthing in the power output, don't get me wrong I've been in the car and it's quick but it needs a little somthing else.....Somthing seems to be missing.......What my friend needs to know is "would a custom re-map fill his needs"

Suggest to him that he rings celtic tuning, as someone i know has had it done, and the car is now truly amazing. I wont elaborate, cos i will be flamed as usual, but email me if you want to know more.

It may well be worth asking another friend who may have had some similar work to that of which your friend is considering and see if your friend could have a go in it (purely for research purposes).

I would suggest to this "friend" that he looks at something like Custom Code.

They may not have the outright peak power figures, but they have a nice flat torque curve almost to the redline.

Indeed, Ive heard they make your face come off and poo appear in your undergarments, all on its own. I took a mate out yesterday who isn't easily scared or impressed. He got out of the car after a litte run, and vomited. Those brakes are something else arent they?

I nearly put my head thro' the windscreen on the way back from work today!!

Mine went into the 'doctors' today to check out the ARB Drop Links.

They didn't notice the ****ing big brakes but to their credit did notice the paint marks were not aligned on the hoses.

what did they say about that?

A dealer didnt notice my friends remap earlier this week when they put a new turbo on under warranty.

Just a passing comment more than anything else TBH.

Thats ok then. I might go and buy some yellow touch up paint tomorrow.
