Variable Boot Floor

Featured Replies

Bit random this I know but has anyone tried to put a variable boot floor from a FL Octavia II Estate into an Octavia III Estate.

Bit tight I know but as its only hidden under a boot liner and dog cage if I can take it from my existing car to the new one I am preparing to order its £150 less to find or even better on another option from the list!

Is the Skoda  original Variable boot floor available post production as an extra ? After not getting the seperation net which cannot be fitted post production I want to try get a bit more boot volume in my estate.

I think that it is the net that is fitted from parcel shelf to roof lining (similar to the dog guard) that was being referred to, not the nets to stop your shopping shifting around. Whilst you could order all of the bits (part nos on EKTA) when I costed this on the mk2 it was cost prohibitive and required cutting into the headlining.

I doubt it. Looked in the boot of a VBF'd Octy 3 a few days ago and it's quite different.

Should be, I had it fitted by the dealer as an extra when I got the Scout back in '08 so it can be done.

Not sure if the VBF could be post factory fitted without a lot of faffing about due to the various bits that appear to come with it.

Also unaware of a net that went to the roof lining as an option; lead to understand the net program was the bundle of nets you can get from the dealer  :wonder:

P.97 in the user manual refers to partition net. Option not available in UK, but is offered elsewhere in Europe.

Spoken with the Service manager not available post production. I it is not the net to hold your tesco shop in place that I want, it is a net to stop kit flying from the boot on an estate, you can use it with the back seats up or down very useful, probably going to get the variable boot added by the dealer at his cost.
