Just seen seen the price of them!! Was thinking of one for the wife but would sooner pay less and get her a VRS too! Shame cos they do look nice

Some good pictures there nicky I would love a rs4 but the jump up in power is more than enough in my s4 and even have the family on board too..... Don't think they like the sport kick down sounds yet!!!!

That frp looks nice, always liked the look of them but when I drove one wasn't impressed I thought it would be quicker but they are nice.

Yes the wee lupo gti's are awesome!

Not overly quick but what a little go-kart! Engine almost has a hint of vtec (has vvt) so changes note up the rev range! I had a bastuck exhaust and piperx intake on it

They cost a fortune but if you can get hold of a standard one then i can guarantee it will be a future classic. Although going by the prices id say it was already there!

Had lots of spec too, 6 speed box on later versions and the first hot hatch to have bi-xenons

Lol yer, was all done very cheaply. Cheap set of jom coilovers and some rattle canned mondeo alloys with low profile tyres.

They do look awesome but the price of them that's shocking! I think I'd sooner get a 07 plate vrs se than a 53 lupo gti's for the same money

I'm 21 now and on my 6th car.

 

My first one was a Fiat Punto mk1 1.2 8v power! 60bhp mad horses. I went through the classic first car modding stage and ended up throwing so much crap on it initially but then turned it around into something a bit more respectable in the end.

I then wanted more power as it was only 71bhp in the end! I then went for a Golf mk4 1.6 8v which was also slow as hell due to it being so so heavy. It drank fuel so much was just so soooo boring to drive haha. Felt like such a boat. Sold it within a couple of months.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I wanted to go diesel so I found a cheap quote on MK1 focus, ended up doing really cheap mods to it as I was skint. 90bhp power this time haha

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I then sold that whilst at Uni, came home after first year and decided to live at home to save money. I realllllly wanted a project to do an engine conversion on. So went for a rover metro with a standard 1.1 mpi engine and bought a 105bhp 1.4 16v engine to go in it. a few months later and a bit of modding I ended up with this. 

 

It was very veryyyyy fun! But travelling 30 miles there and 30 miles back to Uni really took its toll, it just wasn't comfy on the motorway and wanted a diesel again as I was sick of putting my foot down hard to get places and hitting 5k before the power really came in!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I wanted another diesel so got a 115bhp focus. Remapped it at RS tuning in Leeds and got it to 143bhp and 240ft/lb which was fun. Sold that recently and got my ibiza.

Ford Escort 1.8 LX. Think I was the only person ever to like the gold Speedlines on it. RS2000 bonnet also.

Fiat Stilo 20v i5 2.4.

Loved that car but Torsion beam on the rear was only ever really happy on the track. You can't see from the photo but it had a quad exhaust fitted by previous owner. That was always a source of mild embarrassment.

I have just turned 23 and had a few cars since i passed when i was 17/18

 

First car was a nissan micra 1 litre , what a beast , ended up in car heaven after messing about in a farmers field lol 

 

 

 

Then bought a 1.4 fiesta zetec, was quite nippy, untill the tensioner seized and managed to sell it for spares and repairs.

 

 

Went back to a nissan micra, bright yellow ha

 

 

Got further in my apprenticeship so was earning twice as much , got myself a vrs, had shark remap, koni fsds, jabba rarb, seat sport fmic , forge pipework , other stuff too like seat surgeons leather interior. spent a fortune lol.

 

 

 

Didnt need the mpg anymore so bought a type r , this is where i finished my apprenticeship so earning decent money and still living at home. so went abit nuts on the civic . final figures were 304 bhp! best car ive ever owned, titanium exhaust system , jackson racing supercharger, fast road setup. was a beast!

 

 

 

 

The fuel was stupid, was putting in nearly 50 a week , put it up for sale and managed to get near £8k for it , was chuffed as i didnt lose too much on it. 

 

then bought a celica t sport vvtli, 189bhp, was a nice car for the 2k i paid for it. 

 

 

Got bored of the celica so went back to the trusty vrs
