Loving the Scooby Pickup! :)

Yeah absolutely loved it. 1 of 4 in the world. 3 turbos 1 sport like it. Only running 246bhp but highly entertaining. Real head turner :) had to get rid as wasnt practical with having kids and interior needed finishing but didn't havethe money at the time.sold it to a really rough young lad who never insured it and managed to blow it up in under 2 months of selling it to him! Guttered.

Owned 9 polos in total lol.. have a soft spot for them because i passed my test in one :)

Edited by mattvrestate

Ok here goes in chronological order (I'm Only 21 bare in mind)

Seat Ibiza 1.4 8V (Lowered, wheels, smoothed. Everything done)

Vw Passat Sport 1.9 Tdi

Mazda Mx5 1.6

Fabia VRS Mk1

Saxo VTR

Range Rover P38

Honda Civic VTI

Honda Integra Type R

Vw Passat 1.9 tdi wagon (coilovers, merc wheels, leather. Loved this car to bits)

Lexus GS300

Vw Golf GTTDi

And my current company car Rapid 1.2 Tsi in Rallye Green with Black 17" Camelot alloys

No pic, but I had a 1.8T Octavia Elegance which fairly shifted.

Here's mine:

1994 Honda Civic 1.3 - put Ek4 Vti alloys on it, EG6 Vti seats and EG4 Lsi rev counter. Cost peanuts to run and was great fun to drive.

DSC00119.jpg

1998 Toyota Celica SS-III import (2.0 litre 200bhp beams engine and LSD gearbox). Body kit was factory standard and it had the same rear spoiler as the GT-Fours.

DSC00795s.jpg

2002 Mazda 323 Sport - owned as a stop gap. Slow and awful fuel economy but handled really well. Rear arches were going quite rusty!

323sport.jpg

1996 Nissan Almera GTI - second stop gap car. Bullet proof engine. Like the Mazda, prone to rust. Red paint had also turned pink ish especially on the front bumper.

1998 Honda Integra Type R DC2 import - Like the Civic but twice as good in every respect.

DSC00136s.jpg

1998 Golf GT TDI 110 - dull and plagued with electrical problems and a knackered DMF.

2002 Skoda Octavia VRS (still own) - I've had this car over 2 years which is longer than I've owned any of the previous cars.

DSC01115s.jpg

2003 Clio Sport 172 - bought in June as my weekend/toy/track car. No pics yet!

Still own most of them minus the first Ibiza which I PX'd for the 2nd one, and the MR2 which I sold earlier this year. In order of purchase :)

That vx220 is lovely! Am I right in thinking get you can buy a turbo one but not a supercharged?? What was the reason for doing a supercharger conversion instead of buying a turbo one?

Thank you.

Don't ever ask that question over on VX220.org haha.

The general feel is that the 2.2 N.A with a supercharger gives a more linear power delivery which is suited better to the car for track day usage as no nasty surprises coming out of corners with a big wallop of torque kick in (like on the turbo) meaning its more controllable at 260bhpish.

Personally, the whine and the fact you can buy any old car with a turbo bolted on. Sounds like with the Larini exhaust too :)

Thats just a few of my cars, Ive had 53 and a motorbike.

My missus must be crazy putting up with me and cars.

I once went all sensible and bought a Zafira, which made her happy as larry.

2 weeks later, it had 17" alloys, a full bodykit and Duplex sports exhaust.

She then wasnt as happy :D

Will try and find some of my other cars and post them up as well

Cheers

Damo

Heres a quick selection of mine

That frp looks nice, always liked the look of them but when I drove one wasn't impressed I thought it would be quicker but they are nice.

Jase you've had some nice cars, these lupo gti's are really growing on me! What are they like to own? Pretty nippy?
