Magnetic brown I think its called with ivory interior

I have a 62 Brown L&K 4x4 and I really like the colour. A lot of people in certain light think its Black. Mine has the Brown interior would be interested to see what the ivory looks like.

Funny really when you tell people you drive a Skoda and then to add insult to injury you tell them it's brown. The looks I still get.

Have you added any extras?

Was goin for the 4wd but had a loan of one and the mpg was dire, also thought it drove like a tractor .(sorry),hope I didn't offend. Just did a test on my present car and it returned 49 mpg over the past few days.

The brown does look black from a distance and I too am interested in the Ivory interior. Time will tell. Only extra is hill hold, couldn't think of anything else. The brochure says the L&K has a heated screen but the spec sheet says not, can you tell me which one it is plz.

I had to order and pay for the heated screen on my 170 DSG L&K (also brown and brown on a combi). But it is this year's model, delivered Jan, and the spec may change for the 2014 model.

Surprised you still have you have to pay for a heated screen on a top of the range model, what extras does the L&K have compared to the elegance ?

The standard extras from what i remember are - tv tuner, cooled seats, magentic brown, panoramic sunroof if its the combi, rear sun blinds, rear foot rest, park assist with front sensors, rear heated seats, i cant think of much else?

Sounds good

I wish I could afford a 4wd "tractor" to tow my van around Europe and assist with the winter weather. Strange comment as I understand that on the road its two wheel drive most of the time and the halex supplies power to wheels when grip is required .

Why is this a stupid comment.?

I have been driving a superb since 09 and have 260 k on it. It feel as good now as when it was new. I did not get the same feeling from the 4wd. It felt heavy and lithargic and not a nice place to be.That is my opinion on the car, others obviously differ but does that make my opinion any more stupid than theirs ?

I would have loved the 4 wd, I was gutted with the driving experience as I also tow a van around Ireland and Europe.

But he ho that's the way so I'm settling for fwd again. If I was to be really honest 4wd would have been a luxury .

Sounds nice, what are the cooled seats like?

Over here the extras are,18in wheels, keyless start, privacy glass in rear, rear footrests(joke),upgraded stereo.

I think that's agout it other than L&K badges. Pard assist, rear heated seats and auto dimming mirrors are standard ion the Elegance.

Buying the car is the easy bit. It's the over 2k road tax that would kill me

Auto dimming mirrors are standard in the Elegance.

Not in my Elegance they're not, unless that's the current model?

Have been over here since the car was launched in 08

Btw the v6 is so expensive to tax over here that Skoda don't even offer it on their price list.

Kilkenny, where are you? 2k road tax?!

We pay about £470 a year here for a car that dirty.

Guess it wouldn't be far off the same 3.6 in the Panamera, or R36.

I hope the you have good patience, waiting 3 months for a new car would drive me mad... it'll be worth the wait though! :)
