LED 'puddle' lights

Featured Replies

The last two I ordered from 'our ' previous seller had thin wires too, a lot thinner than the first two I ordered. Its not a problem but you need to be a bit more careful not to tug and damage them.

I reckon the wires once stripped are thinner than a regular mans pubic hair!!!

But if they work then who cares!!!

Finally got round to doing mine - super easy to do they were too, although one of the LED strips had thin wires that were a PITA to scotch lock onto the door light wires.

Can anyone point me in the direction of a guide for adding these things into the boot? The only thing I'd really like to see is how people with one bootlight have got power to both sides...

piece of cake really buddy.

Can take some more pics of mine.

I already had a second light in boot as there is a second slot on the other side. I can't remember if i already had a loom/plug in place for the second light or I just extended the wires from the other side.

I then just tapped into these wires to the led strip and stuck the led strip under each plastic panel.

will take better pics later.

No 12 days is alright considering where they've came from. How do they compare to the other sellers lights?

I got my replacement convenience switch unit for my door from China/Hong Kong, took 27 of the 28 days for delivery...

but like with the LED strips -  it cost a tenner inc postage so i expected a very tired man on a bicycle to turn up with it!!

put mine on today after being in the cellar for the last 2 weeks and wow what a diffrence they make, even impressed the doris which isnt a mean feat i can tell ya

Update today folks......

I had opportunity to mess with the door panels after the rear passenger door was playing up, due to door wiring loom having a break in it somewhere(same issue are drivers rear door) Jesus these doors are temperamental

I went to local scrappy and got spare loom and found some front door lights and a door lock blank so set about a plan.

So cut about the rear door panels to get a door light in them , Wired them up to the led strip already fitted and this is what I ended up with

Then I wired up another set of led's to the boot light loom and this is what i ended up with

The lights in boot are actually better than shown as i had the light coming from the house.

well impressed.

Will add a guide up for both but pretty easy to do...
