I've just discovered this site today as I was desperate to sort out my rubbish headlights on my Roomster.

 

From what I've read, I'm not alone in finding these dangerous so I think my next stage is 'nightbreakers'.

 

My Roomster is a 1.4 tdi 2 on an 07 in dark metallic green. I've had it 3 years and it replaced a Berlingo. It has done 58,000. It's been totally reliable except a second gear crunch that developed a couple of years ago and which was sorted with a gearbox oil change.

 

I've not read any views on this engine on here but I find it surprisingly brisk with a great 3 cylinder song coming from under the bonnet. I average 60mpg (on the read-out, tested to 55 brim to brim) and this never seems to change except in the coldest weather when it drops a couple of mpg.

 

The lights are the worst thing about it and perhaps the steering is a bit light and lacking in feel but otherwise it's great for all the reasons that others have stated on here.
