Throttle response is greatly improved just by fitting it.  Waiting on a BMC panel filter, plus I already have a Turbo Technics turbo intake pipe ready to fit.

I'm only on 110 miles so far.  Want to change the oil at 250 miles, then remap around 500 miles.  Been driven hard right from the start

Colour is just the best...however, wheels defo need spacers, especially rear, and dropping a few more mm!!

Hi everyone.

 

Octavia newbie here....   Took delivery of my Quartz Grey vRS this morning.....would love to post a photo or a link to one if someone can tell me how.

 

Off to Birmingham tomorrow for a 350 mile round trip so will be a really good test.

Just the one picture until I can get the car to a good location for a proper album (you can just see my wee Fabia hiding in the background).

 

My new Octy 1.4 TSi SE with Golus alloys, chrome window surrounds and silver roof rails (in addition to Front Assistant & Smartlink). Just had an aftermarket 18% window tint done and once the suspension beds in and lowers a little the car should look awesome!

 

A couple of my parents Race blue Octavia

 

My dad got to choose the color, provided that my mother could choose wheels and styling   (They are 61 and 58 years old)

As Im off on my travels with work for four months I decided to give my car massive clean and protection session....

 

Not polished but given a coat of Sonax Polymer Net Shield and then a coat of my favourite sealant Serious Performance Ultra 1000P, Wheels were sealed with the same product.

Why are you getting rid of the chrome window surrounds? I think they would frame the tints really well, especially with your silver roof rails and two-tone alloys? The RS4's and 6's have the chrome surrounds with tints and IMO it looks awesome. That was the main reason for speccing my Octy with them and I'm delighted with the overall look of the car.

In Denmark the black pack is not an option - unfortunately! 

 

As I wrote earlier, this is my parents car, and my mother hates chrome so its gotta go. My own Octy will be receiving the same treatment.

 

The grill, the badges, the silver roof rails and the window trim will be blacked out - we don't care much about the faux chrome in our family 

 

Imho the car looks much more sporty without the chrome. But again thats a matter of personal preference.
