There was a Green one withe a Czech plate on the A1 yersterday so we gave each over a courtsey wave as he went past  :clap:

these wingbar edge look so nice compared to standard you have to put on a hatch (  http://www.thule.com/en/gb/roof-rack/accessories/thule-rapid-system-754-_-754000 ) .

 

why doesnt thule make such for hatch...

 

Anybody know similar carriers for hatch?

Doenst look nearly as good as edge, because its too high.

interested to see how many bike carriers you can get on the edge bars. Do you think you could get 4? Also do you have a sun roof and does it open with these bars?

Unlikely to get 4 carriers on and certainly wouldn't get 4 bikes

Most bike handlebars are at least 40cm wide ( even more for mountain bikes ) so there wouldn't be the room. The wing bar edge are narrower than normal as they don't protrude beyond the roof rails

Probably get 3 bikes on with the middle one facing backward

I will take a pic when I put both bikes on to see how much room there is

First time fitting the Thule box on the 230 (crate for the pooch in the boot). Didn't really need it in the end as there was still plenty of space around the crate.

Although the box is a dark silver colour it looks really good against the meteor (i'd actually love to colour match it in meteor grey too but too skint).

those are OEM roof bars and the box is THULE Atlantis 600 - had it for a few years now - excellent piece of kit.

pretty sure the oem skoda bars are thule too.. in which case it might be cheaper to buy ones with thule badges rather than skoda.
