My O2 based Galaxy S4 keeps telling me to upgrade to Android 4.3

I'm reluctant to do so without being certain that this upgrades supports RSAP so I can continue to use my phone in my 09 Superb.

Has anyone upgrade to this yet and confirm whether it still connects OK please?

I'm on 4.4.2 on my Nexus 4 and that still works fine.

At first my Galaxy S11 had problems not always connecting. Reset the phone and all ok. Now using a Galaxy Note 3 and no problems at all with the Amundsen +. Wife's Note 2 works well too.

Thanks for that.

Samsung weren't able to confirm for sure.  Their supervisor offered up "if it work snow it'll work after the upgrade".  Doesn't fill me with confidence.

4.3 on a Galaxy S4 works just fine

My new Nexus 5 works just fine as did my HTC Desire before.

Although if I had my phone in my bag down in the passenger foot well it occasionally lost connection for some reason.

Bit of a mystery to old fuzzy as to why that should be.

Anywhere else in the car it was fine.

Computers ay would ya be bothered!

My Galaxy Note 2 was fine until I updated to Android 4.3 now it hooks up but no track info on my Yeti Greenline Elegance :(

  • 1 year later...

Skoda Yeti 60 plate 2010 Elegance 4x4 would not work with Samsung Galaxy s3 - kept connecting then disconnecting he after 5 minutes of this disconnected and gave up.

So if you have an older series Yeti or Octavia/Superb etc.. beware- modern smartphones might not work...

Yeti 2014 plate connects to S3 with no problem  - but will a newer phone????
