airbag light...skoda fun....skoda or ebay

Featured Replies

Air bag light,       Seems to be a lot of problems with them,  Well here's another.............I removed the steering wheel and airbag from my Fun to re colour the leather steering wheel,   [ Came out great by the way]  .. put it all back together,  reconnected the battery  turned on the ignition and Voila!   the airbag light came on, and stayed on........I've read about  re setting the computer  and  was wondering whether to take it into Skoda,  Not sure of the cost,  or buy one of those code reader, reset tools on Ebay     Any thoughts  would be welcome....John.

Hi John,

I've got a code reader/clearer. If I'd have read this earlier I'd have chucked it in the car.....we were in the Hungry Horse tonight!
