I won my front and rear set of genuine mudflaps on eBay for £9.99 each. Waiting on the rears to arrive in post but a damn lot cheaper than stealers would charge to supply and fit. I foresee half an hour in the heated garage to fit

Was that from a company or just lucky to spot them?

eBay seller vwspareparts both were listed at £9.99 start bid and I was the only bidder

I fitted front and rear mudflaps to my vRs estate today. Ordered them from Ireland last week and they were delivered by Yodel on Monday.

They're straightforward to fit. Two screws to be removed (hex 25 I believe) from each corner. It's a tight squeeze for the rears but possible without removing the wheels, with the right sized tools. I had an additional clip (supplied) to fit on the rear nearside and a trim popper to remove on the rear offside. Mudflaps then attached with original four screws and an additional screw on rear nearside and replacement popper on the rear offside.

Fronts similar; four screws removed, mudflaps fitted, screws replaced. The hole that needs screwing is through plastic and very straightforward. Drill it with the mudflaps in place. Use supplied trim popper in that hole. Moving front wheels lock to lock, one way to attach the screws, the other way to drill the hole. No hot water required. They fitted perfectly.

Yeah, keyring was a nice touch- Henry &Eileen.

Lol mine also arrived today!

Where are you guys getting them from?

Burns Skoda Ireland

This Burns Skoda Ireland must be loving it. One person advertises them and shows how cheap they are, and all of a sudden the whole world is buying things from them! No need to pay for advertising hey!!

So Miss Vienna. If i buy a pair of rears, i'll pop round for you to fit them?!!

Please could somebody tell me the correct part numbers for the front and rears for the estate (from Burns?). Thanks

And forgot to ask, are the rear mud flaps common to the hatchback and estate models, ie is the part number the same?...

Sure pop over lol I will fit yours first. If it doesn't go so well I shall pay a dealer to fit mine rofl

Does anybody have a photo of the full rear of their car with these fitted?,  so you can see both mud flaps?. I can only see photos of one at a time shown. I want to see if these improve the stance of the car. I tend to think that the car looks slightly narrow. This isn't helped by the excessive negative offset of the wheels... It's a pity Skoda did this.

Tell you what Cookie Monster, fit yours first, then if it is successful, you can do mine! I will lend some moral support whilst you fit yours! Well, OK, i will sit around drinking tea! Doesnt sound too difficult though. No holes to drill. As long as you have the correct tools

Steve, Miss Vienna has an estate, so hold on ordering until she has botched hers, then you will know if they happily fit both types!!!!
