After a few days work heres an update..

As you can see theres been a fair few dings and dents to sort out. Most have been banged out and a thin layer of skimming filler over the top. The big dent in the pick up bed at the back on the o/s wheel arch and been reformed and skimmed over. We have also welded up some holes left by the truckman top that was fitted when I bought it. Door locks have gone as you can see leaving super smooth doors.

Suspension has started, front struts are on (few teething problems to sort but hopefully Rayvern will have a solution) this baby will be low, with no air in the system the sills will touch the floor before the struts bottom out

If the suspension issues get sorted in time it should be all in primer by the weekend

Will look ultra smooth by the time its finished, can't wait. I do like to see a quality finish! Will be really fresh while retaining the OEM feel! Nice.

A few more pics from today, its slow progress at the moment prepping the smaller bits ready for the paintwork. There will be quite a few changes that most people wont ever notice but thats my idea of modifiying, subtle is the key.

De badged grill (remember this is metal so has been plated and welded over then lead filled and primered.

The bed prepped and compressor and tank in place, these wil be sunk into the floor ina custom made steel box with a perspex lid
