Well the compressor is running and the front went up on its air suspension tonight..yay.

At least now we can get it off the ramp...lol.

Good news mate.

When the maiden voyage for the rears then?

When we have made the spacers up that go between the bag and the chassis.

That will be next week I think as Gary is anxious to get the body finished off so it shines.

Well shes just about done now body wise just the rear suspension to make up and a small leak in the front suspension to locate and cure and shes ready to come home.

Cant express how pleased I am with how its turned out. Just wish it was my work, but hey I do the spanners, Gary does the paint.

That paint really is looking nice Ross.

It all seems to be coming together quite quickly now, perhaps you could give Jason some tips.

What we had to do tonight is work out how high we needed to make the rear air bags rest at. Then we needed to make some steel collars to sit on top of the bags to set this height. We did this by resting the pick up on four steel tressels to act as a floor that enable us to get under it to make the measurements. After removing the rear springs and dampers we could let the ramp down to the desired level and measure up.

Kinda gives a clue how it will sit...

Brilliant - looks ace!

Steve

looking good big man

Looks 'proper' pimping :D

Looks nice mate, top job ;)

I would defo weatherproof the cabling that is running from and to the compressor and tank. Put it in thinner hose pipe for full weather protection ;)

There is only one wire (blue one) and all the joints are heat shrunk now. The red 'cabling' is nylon air hose, not much chance of that corroding.

Anyhow, what you doing here Steve?

Looking awesome mate.

The yellow looks a slightly different shade in every pic - hope to see it for real one day!

This is really beginning to defy pimp my ride.

...And I love it :D

Its mental paint, really shows up all the curves of the body kit etc, everything looks a different colour.
