Thats coming on nicely Ross.

Just out of interest who did the paint job for you? Mine could do with some TLC at some stage

My good friend Gary is doing the paint. He's just setting up on his own and mine is his first job in a few years. Hes been in the paint and fabrication game for years and I used to work with him at MSD on the Hyundai WRC cars. He has painted lots of his own project cars before, all have been mint.

He wil be looking for work soon when mine is done. Hes hoping to get enough work through that he can leave his dead end depressing job at a crash repair centre.

A few more pics from today, from the left.

1.The compressor for the air suspension

2.The air tank for the compressor

3+4 The 'rough' experimental side exit exhaust :)

Things are moving on mate.

Are you going to have any sort of weather portection for the compressor?

i seem to remember some genius ground breaking expert tuner having a similar exhaust on one of his beasts :rubchin:

some pics round here of it aswell ;)

We have made a steel shield to go over it but the compressor is sealed anyhow for external use.

Heres the link to a quick scan from the golf+ magazine http://www.briskoda.net/gallery/showimage.php?i=3374&c=500

I sort of looked at that image, but got distracted with some leather next to it

Lummox - car is really coming along now, looks excellent, can't believe how much you intended doing it :)

Like what you did with the bumper very nice and subtle, the paintwork looks awesome, and the side exit is a nice idea ;)

Can't wait to see the finished think, I thing your mate deserves a blatent plug when he's finished, looks like he really knows his stuff...

Keep up the good work

Hey, thats sweeeet!

Is it going to be capable of bouncing around like the yanks get their cars to? ;):D

No J, air doesnt bounce that hydraulics.

And would you want to bounce a Skoda pick up with fibreglass bumpers and bodykit anyhow? Errr no.

Only kidding. :D What you really want to do (I can tell) is to have at max height and have some ***** (thats c.h.a.v.s....) in a paxo pull up alongside at a set of light laughing at the height of it, then you push a button and slam it right down. ;)
