Upgrade from Swing to Bolero Superb Combi 3T 2010

Featured Replies

Hello,

I have a Suberb Combi with a Swing radio fitted and I want to upgrade to a Bolero Radio. I found one on the internet, but I have two questions i hope you can help me with:

1. The radio is from at Skoda Suberb from 2011, will the bolero fitt in my Superb from 2010/10?

2. The radio has no "Passenger air bag off" sign and the guy selling says that it's not a part of the radio and I will have to use the one in my Swing radio. Can you confirm this?

thanks in advance!

Don't know the answer to 1. (but cab't imagine why it shouldn't) but 2 is actually a piece of trim that fits round the stereo. Remove the battery before removing the trim though as it is part of a safety circuit and will flag and error if removed and powered.

I can now confirm that the "Passenger air bag off" sign is not a part of the radio. It clips out and can be replaced. Part no.: 3C0919234A. I did not get any error installing the radio with the battery not removed.

Cheers!
