Buyer's Remorse?! Other Missed Options on their new cars?!

Featured Replies

You've got me thinking now. Do I cancel and rely on my HTC one CoPilot app. Far superior to the Amundsen but with the hassle of holders and wires.

Sure, the wires and harness thingies can be annoying, but how often do you use the nav? I bet I used my last inbuilt one less than once a month, and I can handle an untidy cabin once in a while.

Especially when I'm half a grand richer as a result.

Got only black pack and sunset...probably should of got spare but didn't realise at the time of ordering! (I'll just drive on the rim to the nearest garage if its raining....thats the advantage of company cars  !!)

Following mirrors would also have been a must...oh aye thats right not an option on vRS (why???)

Ive got elegance trim plus sunset glass mitsimi thing snd spare wheel. The glsss and apple debice wete freebies as I ordered a car which came with a spsrr wheel did the deal and then when it came to ordering yhe car had been sold. Skoda dealer then had to hunt around for similar spec car so they had to stump up for extras.

I woild have settled on se trim but wife wanyed centre armrest. Sat nav not a must for me as I use my phone if necessary ss don't often travel to places I don' know.

Don't listen to music in the car if I can help, all my media devices are non apple so thays useles. WWouldn't have bothered with spate well but it msy come in useful one day although id alwaus prefer to limp to the neatest tyre cenyre.

Never understood the point of heated seats as car warms up qiickly with climate control but each to their own.

Apologies for spelling mistskes as on my s3 and wearing the wrong spex.

For me it was a case of juggling options with a limited "extras" budget :(

1. Spare Wheel (obvious)

2. Cruise - Shocking that this wasnt standard on a 24K "Range-topper" car...... If SEAT can put it in FR spec, and a Golf can have it in SE spec, then its possible.

3. Amundsen - Again, beggars belief that a VRS gets the base stereo from a 1.2TSI - I wanted inbuilt Nav as a fall-back in case of an issue with the phone.

4. Canton - Luxury item for me, as I like my music :) Also saw it as a good option to sell on with.

5. Black pack - Compulsory ;)

6. Sunset Glass - See 6.

7. Mudflaps - White car + lots of miles = grey car :D

8. Rubber Boot Mat - OCD boot protection!

9. Car mats - Since Skoda appear to be turning into BMW... ;)

There were a few options I hovered the tickbox over (Colour Maxidot, Leather, Winter Pack, windscreen) .... Dont regret not getting any of them.

I do actually use it quite a bit.
