Probably the best car project I've ever seen...

Featured Replies

Very impressive.

Based only a few miles away from me too!

I'm guessing it's not a cheap conversion. They are making them for customers. They have 1000 hp under the hood. Wow!

This isn't one of your new cars Rich... :giggle:  :giggle: :giggle:

Start with a new R35 GT-R and Qashaui... no. :)

But this is why I don't bother competing with tuning houses.

When they are doing all the work themselves they can produce some wacky things.

The bill for something like this would be astronomical. (estimated £150k+)

I actually prefer the idea of a four seat, five door Qashaui like this to Nissan's own Juke-R that Nissan commissioned RML to make.

I believe it's also being tuned to 750-1000bhp too.

As it's effectively a 550bhp car in standard form!

Interesting - is there a page with details of what they'd been doing to it?

I still couldn't get on the Brisky Castle Combe sessions as they are Skoda only! :D

If everything I have planned goes according to the plan I might be doing one of these CC sessions...

Could you squeeze that engine into a Yeti?

Shame it has a body kit, looking  standard apart from wheels etc , would be more fun and surprise everyone !

I'm sure you can order the cosmetic bits to your own liking Alan. :)

Makes a lot more sense than the Juke R, at least the Qashquai is a reasonable car. Ideal if you want to take the family and a boot-load of shopping round the

Nürburgring  :giggle:

That is fecking awesome! Even if it does involve Datsuns :D

I love it when someone throws down their biscuit and says 'balls, let's just go ahead and do it' Cars (and vision) like this make the world a better place

Shame they ruined a GTR by sticking a Kumquat on top..... I don't get the fascination with the QQ that the UK public seems to have.

I saw the reg (BF13) and thought, 'oh noooo now what's he done' :D

Because a lot of owners think that because it looks like it's a 4x4 it'll work like a 4x4. Even though 90% of them will buy the 2x4 since it's cheaper to buy and run. Most of them probably believe they have a 4x4.

View, spec and supporting UK manufacturing?

Wha?! Just look at it. Boggo family shopper with bite. I'm no Nissan fan but no matter where your allegiances lie, you can't but be impressed by this effort.

A big chunk of the motoring public wants a reasonably spacious practical car that's easy to drive, sensibly priced and inoffensive to look at, all of which the QQ does just fine, and it supports UK manufacturing.

Nothing wrong with that at all.

That is impressive :) I even like the bodykit, it suits it well.

I was half expecting Richard to say he's just placed an order :D

It's looking like Ferrari 458 money!!!

Severn Valley... It's probably been converted into a boat by the local weather by now.

Live in the same town that this has been made in! I'd love to see this out and about, doubt that I will though! What a project!

If only it was based on a car rather than a Cashcow!
