After some careful thought I decided to put it back on another jig. One I had access to before just couldn't quite cut it. Will be picking it up on Sunday after my birds dinner dance! Unfortunately she won't let me miss it for my car. :-/

Have spent the past couple of weeks stocking up on parts for putting it back on the road...... Unfortunately it is spewing black reek out the back so turbo must be blown. Another kkk or just buy a decent garret? Hmmmmmm

Yeah bud, she's almost finished. I have got a new job offhore so been really busy and stressed, but obviously the money means i'm plowing through it! lol

I am just waiting on my Brand new bumper arriving and some bolts for my wheel adaptors, which should be there by the time i get home on thursday, then i should be sending the whole car for a respray next week as there were a few scratches on my new panels and a couple of rust bubbles starting. and i didn't heat it enough getting the door strips off so took the paint off.

I will be honest, it's not cheap to do, i have supplied most my parts online, and i've been lucky with this job because money isn't an issue anymore. I can't stress enough the importance of giving the car a really good inspection first! i had a bent pulley on the Aux belt, and some damaged boost pipes, apart from that it was all cosmetic.  I will get round to finishing the post when i get a chance, i have plenty of pictures to go up,

I have loads of mates in the car trade, so i got a brilliant panel beater to put it on his comercial Jig the second time as i wasn't happy with it first time round. the plan was to go stage 2, but i have a crease in the engine bay, nothing major, but the missus will probably drive it when i'm offshore and i wouldn't forgive myself if something happened to her in it. so might buy another one for when i feel like being a t**t on the roads. lol

Also found out that it was an undeclared accident so it is road legal, even if it isn't road worthy! lol put some pictures up of the damage! mine was a lot worse than i initially thought as the chassis legs were quite far off, only discovered this when i got it home and stripped it down. but i paid £500 for the car in that state, the service book is stamped every year by the dealer and it has been very well looked after so i couldn't turn it down.

So it isn't a cat c or cat d then?

Even better news.

Worth full market value on fixing

Look forward to see the photos of your progress! One of my mates dads owns a garage so he will probably inspect it all first before I start any work, here's a pic of mine..:(
