Found my old insurance renewal document

Was looking for some documents last night when I came across an old insurance renewal document which forced me to sell my then car - a Peugeot 207 GT diesel (a whole 110BHP)  I was 20 at the time and had a few bad months before this came through which meant I lost my no claims;

I think the most I've ever paid was £800 when I was about 25 with 0% NCB

My Peugeot 206 1.4 auto was £4300 to insure with a black box, £5999 without a black box. Car cost £700

My 11 reg Fabia 1.2 is £1300 to insure without a black box only 7 months later. Car cost £5995

I'm 18 now but was 17 when both of these policies were taken out, and obviously no NCD for either.

Rip off to say the least.

Aged 17 (in 1998) I paid £1350 to insure my MG Metro (-£500 value) on a TPFT basis. Worth every penny, I loved it.

In 1988 I paid £1000 fully comp on a Renault 11 Turbo, but what a car for a 18 year old back then!
