Looking for a new project.

Featured Replies

Well the 740i has gone. I bought it as I wanted a big V8 barge. Now done that.

I want a new toy. Has to be Turbo and petrol. Budget is up to 1k for the right car. This is what makes it a challenge.

I'm fancying a Saab 9-5 HOT aero but I've missed the decent looking ones in budget.

Has to be manual.

Looking forward to suggestions!!

Looks tidy too. Not far off the weight of that 740 though

Don't be put off by the mileage too much either, this engine is capable of big distances.

Yeah. I've had the barge but now I want a fast comfortable saloon/estate on a tight budget..

I'd be mega impressed to see a remotely good nick one of them near the budget. They all get smashed into walls in the name of "drifting"

Well I have bid on a couple of 9-5s on eBay but lost both. I'm tempted by that one you found CFB and also another I've spotted in Essex.

I just can't find another fast turbo saloon in sensible budget.

Volvo 850 T5?

The 850 is a bit too old for me. Possibly an S70, although its the same car...it is a bit more rounded..

You, along with that car, should be taken out back and shot!

I tend to agree, but it does meet the brief :giggle:

Well maybe not the fast bit?
