Thanks to Alan for having a word with his VW Mechanic mate who works at a large VW franchise in Bradford (JCT 600)

Apparently, the CR 170 diesel Cambelt Change schedule has...well yes....Changed from 4 years to 5 years intervals

Its was on a recent VW Bulletin

Skoda don't appear to know this.

So back to the Dealer tomorrow to cancel the Cambelt Change until next year

That's saved me best part of £400....for now at least

£400, just think what you could do with that...... ;-)

Quite...

SWMBO can buy a new handbag to add to the 50 she already has?

Or u can put it in a high interest account -

so this time next year u use it to pay for cambelt,

AND u got change left over from the interest :-)

Its still in that account Wayne...until I remove some of it   ;)

I think chris will spend it on more detailing kit, in preparation for my visit to him.

use indy and change that water pump its off anyway.

Yes. It is an option, but like I said before, if anything goes wrong with car and its not been worked on by a Skoda dealership, I'm less likely to get a goodwill gesture

I'm fully aware of the costs involved

Major service for cars OVER 2400 is 199 at JCT 600 Dealerships, just got a flyer

Did we meet Shaun at one of the VAG meets last year?

Good to know - i always check with Adam first anyway on "his" price.

Yes thats him, looks like Dwayne Dibley out of Red Dwarf, nice guy  though

Ok cool.... I'll make a point of dropping in then.
