Wing Mirror parts required - been clouted!

Hi,

My drivers side mirror on my 2012 octy estate has been given a good whack and some bits need swapping. The housing seems fine but I'll need a new indicator assembly (I understand I need to buy the indicator lamp and swap it) - and also a mirror - which OVi autos on ebay seem to be a recommended option....

One query - since been clouted - my left side mirror electrically adjusts fine, and the drivers side works fine too still - however when I adjust the drivers side - the left hand side mirror moves as well!!!! How the heck does that happen???? they both moved independently before and I can adjust the left side without the right moving....

Any ideas???? It's a weird one...any other suggestions on cheap parts would be most welcome!

the left mirror moving aswell is a setting in maxidot

Also, it only happens when you have either selected 'right' or 'left' (I can't remember which) but is actually quite a good thing when you suss it out.

Front Windscreen wiper has an annoying issue

We bought a 2024 Skoda Karoq 1.5 SE L back in May this year. Pretty much ever since we've had it, the front wiper will periodically (randomly) wipe the windscreen when there's blue skies and no rain. Sometimes it will wipe once, sometimes three or even four times. It has been doing this seemingly more frequently in the last couple of weeks when we were away on holiday. Driving back from north Wales yesterday. it happened on seven or eight occassions. I've checked the position of the wiper lever

I'm looking at a 2020 Kamiq SEL as a second car, which has the fairly rare 'adaptive' cruise control (not 'predictive adaptive'). I've had mixed experiences with ACC on two Citroens. My recent C5 has it, and it works great and very smoothly so long as you remember that all it really does is keep you on station with the car in front and stop you running into it. Whilst in France last week my car received an infotainment update, The car is a 2024 Octavia Vrs diesel hatchback, with a reversing camera retrofitted by East Yorkshire Retrofit. After the update two odd things happened. Firstly the reversing camera did not work at all the first time I reversed the car after the update. Then it worked, but instead of the full screen showing the camera view, it is now two thirds camera view and one third a top-down outline of the car with curved lines showing the

Hi guys, Just bought a 2020 Octavia and end up stuck in a seemingly infinite "Please wait..." loop when trying to become the primary user on the infotainment. I was able to set up an account on the MySkoda app and add my car's VIN. I then get to the "activate vehicle" stage and it directs me to continue on the infotainment. My email/password has been added as a user, but any time I tap into "become primary user" it just hangs and says "please wait...". I've tried it with the car's eSIM active,
