Advice on N249 and N112 removal

Featured Replies

Removing the N249 is easy buddy.

But as you are not removing SAI and N112 then no point removing N249 , just bypass it and leave it in place so it is all still connected and this means you won't get a engine check cell or to worry about pipe connections under the metal bracket.

here is a Guide I just found searching the net in less than a minute

And the dipstick tube is a common part that breaks as the plastic get hard and brittle due to engine heat over time

Cheap to replace

So, did this. Leaving the n249 and n112 wired so not mesaing with resisters etc. Nearly 2 weeks later Eml pops up with p0411 sai incorrect air flow!

Is this because ive bypassed the n112 or is there actually likely to be a fault with the sai?

Thanks in advance
