Zenith 18's what they worth?

Featured Replies

Just alloys no tyres, need a re-furb to be mint.

Just wondering what I'd get for them once I've found some new ones.

I've seen good sets with okay tyres go for anywhere between £5-600.

That's a crazy money for a set of zeniths. There's a set of black Neptunes on eBay at £650 that have failed to sell twice. I got a couple of hundred quid for mine when I sold them, needing a refurb.

If you move them on, can you let me know what you want for them please?

£600 jeez that's crazy. Near on 3sdm & Rota money.

Pm me an offer pal.

They will be going once I've sourced a new set in a couple of weeks.

When I have worn the tyres a little more I will be selling a set of 18" Neptunes that will then just over 2 years old.  3 are (currently) perfect and one has a scuff about 3" long on the rim.  With Conti 2s with 3-4mm tread I would be expecting around £600 - is that realistic?.

I would say around the £400 mark, with tyres.

Wheels only - £200-250 I'd say. Trouble is with values on them, when they need refurbing. Because for the buyer, as they'll need a proper refurb anyway, there's nothing lost in getting a really scabby set as long as they're straight and true.

I bought a new set of black ones on line from Hortons? For less than £600.00. Sold my standards with tyres for couple of hundred. This was a couple of years ago mind.

I personally don't think things have changed that much in the last couple of years, but then I suppose the market dictates the value.

It all comes down to what somebody will pay. If I was a after a set of part worns, 3-4mm would be worth (to me) £100-150, so I guess I'd want to pay more like £400 for the wheels and tyres. They would need to be in mint, as new condition to consider handing over £600.

as others have said when you consider a refurb of a wheel is £50 quid. if all four are even slightly kerbed the buyer needs to spend £200 on top to get them looking mint no one will buy them above £300 without tyres

£200 without tyres then.

What they worth with tyres?

2 new budgets a month ago rears 3-4mm left

  • 4 weeks later...

I would be interested in them without tyres. They fit straight in my 09 1.9tdi se wouldn't they?

I paid 150 for mine, without tyres but quite tidy condition

How wide are they Si?  I might be in the market for 18" x 9" wheels only, not sure how wide your wheels are????  Also are they 5x100?

99% sure they're less than 9" wide, and they are 5x112.

I had a suspicion they would be, I will keep looking, might just get another set of Pro Race 3's but in 18"

Think there 7 or 7.5  deffo 5X112

Zeniths are 7.5J ET51 (ish) 5x112

Pro Race 3 only in 16 or 17" as far as I can tell.

That is unfortunate, I have 3's on the car now in 17" I am not fussed on 1.2's but they do offer an 18" x 9" with ET of 30, so I guess these would clear the brakes nicely.

 Thanks for the info

Pro Race 1.2 in ET45 8j are quite happy over a BBK.

Mine went on over my Boxster calipers.

8j is too narrow, I want these for slicks when I go to the track, the tyres have all done one tarmac stage rally so have plenty left in them for me, the wheels they come off are 18x9. I live close to Demon Tweeks so might take the car over there and get them to show me what they've got..

Sooo .... Are these still for sale? Or anyone got any? Don't care about condition as I will have them in a shop spruced up and black the same day I get them!!

Do not want tyres.

Thanks
