i found the ebay stuff was really poor quality compared the stuff i bought from www.lamin-x.co.uk, its slightly heavier duty and lasts longer, has a much better adhesive too, if thats what you're after

Its pretty easy to split the light to seen what is wrong. I have the insides of a pair of lights here if they are any good to you

I might have a look then and see how bad they are and let you no
