If you (or someone you know) is reasonably confident with a PCB and a soldering iron, you could try a DIY one.

This guy offers the bare interface PCB, or a ready-assembled one.

Beware of ordering stuff from the states, i'm pretty sure the price of that lead from OBDtool.com will render it liable for import duty. Expect an additional cost when Postman Pat knocks on your door

It seems a bit random, whether you get caught for duty. A good trick is to get the sender to tick the "gift" box on the green sticker, though you still get caught sometimes.
