Featured Replies

Anyone know where i can get one of these?

I've looked on all the VAGCOM supplier sites and they only sell software and cable packages.

Cheers.

If you (or someone you know) is reasonably confident with a PCB and a soldering iron, you could try a DIY one.

This guy offers the bare interface PCB, or a ready-assembled one.

He also sells the plug(s) to go with it, all you need to find is the cable.

Beware of ordering stuff from the states, i'm pretty sure the price of that lead from OBDtool.com will render it liable for import duty. Expect an additional cost when Postman Pat knocks on your door ;)

Having said that, my old mum and my sisters have been asking what i want for my birthday...lalalalala ;)

I'm curious if the product from obdtool.com includes the ISO 9141-2 interface.

Does it?

It seems a bit random, whether you get caught for duty. A good trick is to get the sender to tick the "gift" box on the green sticker, though you still get caught sometimes.
