Where is it connected on the air filter?

The 1.8t doesn't have EGR if your talking about the part on the side of the cylinder head that's the combi valve for the SAI system.

Doh missed that was on the mobile sorry about that :think:

I can't remember a pipe from the egr to the air filter. There is the VAC line which goes to the control valve on the bulkhead. The other pipe obviously goes via the intercooler.

I had a 110 TDI and the airbox looks different to yours.

I can't say for definite but I'm sure the maf connection looks different.
